Roland DGA - Resolving Color Discrepancies when Printing from Adobe Illustrator with VersaSTUDIO BT-12

In the vibrant community of Versa STUDIO BT-12 owners, users frequently engage in the Facebook BT-12 Users Group to share ideas and feedback and even troubleshoot issues. Recently, a user encountered a color problem while printing from Adobe Illustrator on a Mac. The printed output did not match the intended color, prompting the technical support team to investigate.

It was discovered that the Adobe Illustrator file was not designed in RGB mode, causing the discrepancy.

Switching the design to RGB mode resolved the issue, resulting in the desired color output.

The key takeaway from this experience is to always design in RGB when printing directly from Adobe Illustrator, regardless of the operating system being used. This ensures accurate color representation and enhances the overall printing experience with VersaSTUDIO BT-12.
